Just some of the many regional dishes on offer at the many many restaurants in our vicinity. But not only Portuguese restaurants, we have International, Italian, Indian, Chinese, French, German and a 2 star Michelin Restaurant all within a few square miles. Whatever your tastes you will find a restaurant to satisfy you. In fact, there are too many restaurants to name, however, we have made a relatively comprehensive shortlist of our favourite and most popular restaurants in our House-book together with some of the menus and an idea of the prices. So you will never go hungry.

For food shopping, we have a supermarket just at the bottom of our road, we walk there every day during our stay to pick up our croissants. It is an independent supermarket which stocks everything, it has a deli and fresh meat counter and they stock a number of British as well other European products. They also have an excellent wine selection. Next door to the supermarket is a fresh fish monger.

There is a large fish market in Albufeira where you will also find Lidl, Aldi, Mondela and an Apalonia ( a Waitrose style supermarket) has recently opened very close to us.
